Beth works with adults, adolescents, teens, couples, and families. Her work with clients includes experience in a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, ministry-related difficulties, substance use, domestic violence, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, and more. She is also passionate about helping couples through marriage or relationship counseling and serving families through family therapy.
CERTIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Beth Freeman, M.A., LLMSW received her Master of Social Work from Wayne State University. She holds a Bachelor’s in English from University of Michigan. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
Beth's dedication to serving others began almost thirty years ago, supporting young adults through life transitions in campus settings. Her clinical training includes providing care to individuals and groups with addictions, behavioral and psychiatric disorders in a large inpatient treatment facility and providing psychotherapy to youth, adults and couples in the private practice setting. Beth has extensively studied cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), a useful intervention for depression, anxiety and various other disorders. She has also served as lead facilitator of the Women’s Macomb Batterers’ Intervention Program.
